Chat will call all three “the egg.” Look at the currency icon. Blue is gems. Yellow is Gold Coins. A third crystal icon is the limited lane.

A Luck: +100% chip is a window. Hatch while it is up. 3x Hatch is the pass that actually multiplies a limited crystal — ranked on gamepasses. Open 3 without luck or the pass is how people burn a crystal stack on commons.

What to keep from a secret hatch

Keep Void-line, Hydra-line, and anything the overlay tagged Unique / event. Master Guardian style names are collection bait — check the card’s Strength + Durability before you lock a slot. Evolve food for Hydra beats a pretty Manticore with starter stats.

Delete or trade filler only after you screenshot Items. Trading is how secret hatches leave accounts. Do not fuse the first copy of a named event pet into junk.

Where secret eggs actually sit

They are not in the starter lobby crate. Look for:

• A crystal island or secret pad gated by Strength — new gyms
• A HUD prompt after you buy a crystal with Gold Coins
• Event stands that vanish after DATA FIXED — live bugs

Order of spend

1. Codes, Claim, Fortune — codes.
2. Confirm the limited stand still exists after a rejoin.
3. Buy the crystal / egg with Gold Coins, not gems, unless the HUD prices gems.
4. Hatch with luck up and a free slot.
5. Equip the best Strength + Durability roll and sit the highest gym on gym tiers.

Crystal chance overlay

Live HUDs show a chance table (common through Unique) plus Open 1 / Open 3. That overlay is the hatch, not a new island. If it says insufficient Master crystal, leave and farm coins.
